The history of Alias was inaugurated in 1979 with “spaghetti chair” by Giandomenico Belotti, an iconic seat, first among the Alias creations to enter the collection of the MoMA in New York.
Born from the evolution of the concept of spaghetti, paludis combines the minimal metal structure, painted or chromed, with the particular material chosen for the weaving of the seat and back: a special “straw” of woven recycled paper, in a wide range of colors
