The idea behind Muuto’s Adaptable table was to update the classic Scandinavian wood table. The result has obvious references to traditional Scandinavian furniture making but the choice of materials and detailing give it a new expression. Furthermore, the table became adaptable to personal needs – with a choice of 4 different table tops, 4 frames and 4 types of legs there are 64 ways to create a personal and unique table.
