It consists in coloring brass, involving several phases: burnishing with a RAL colour (for ex. RAL 7022), manual brushing to get the “scratched” effect and application of a transparent varnish. As it can be applied on iron or stainless steel, Maistral can be used for furniture, coverings and accessories. Differences compared to the sample provided are not to be considered as a manufacturing defect, but as a feature of the manual processing, that may be susceptible to variances in colour and homogeneity.
