The characteristic colouring of this material derives from copper natural oxidation. Once stabilized, it is painted with a matt transparent varnish for indoor use. On request, it is also possible to provide the material without the matt transparent varnish, leaving that the oxidation goes on, allowing to use it also for outdoor.
